I’m not seeing a thread for this yet, so here goes.

Who here has seen Solo: A Star Wars Story? I saw it in theaters a couple weeks ago. Pretty good movie. I’d say it’s about my third or fourth favorite SW movie? The haters gonna hate I guess, but it’s a great movie I think.

What do y’all think?

I haven't seen the new movie yet, I lost time with what's been on. I mostly wait when it comes on amazon now.

I saw it. 🙂 It was actually pretty good. It set the tone for other movies in a way and it was good to see where Han came from.

My girlfriend and I went to see it a couple weeks ago. I was worried that Disney was going to mess up Star Wars doing this kind of stuff, but Solo actually ended up being one of my favorite Star Wars movies. I'd say it's definitely the best Star Wars movie Disney has produced so far.

It was leagues above anything Star Wars has come out with in years. Good movie, not great, though. I just find it weird that Disney would try to make a standalone movie that really didn't have an ending. I feel like it would've been better if they actually ended the movie.

I liked the movie. I think I watched it twice so far. When it comes out on DVD, I will definitely be going to buy it.

Hmm. It kind of had an ending, but was a bit unsatasfactory.

Spoiler: Han Solo thing

Han’s girlfriend takes off in this spaceship and Han is just like meh. Some red guy turns around and the imperial march starts playing. And I’m just like whaaaaat. But the rest of it was great.
