Update: I re-saved them in Photoshop and now they seem to work. Thanks anyways for anyone's time.
I can't seem to figure out why IE 8 (and 7) refuses to display some of my CSS backgrounds - namely the ones on the header sections of my forum. Attached is a BrowserCam screenshot with the problem highlighted in red - there should be a gray gradient in the headers above each forum section.
Everything displays correctly in Firefox, Chrome, and Safari. I loaded up Windows 7 in Virtualbox to test it live in IE 8 and the problem persisted just like it did in BrowserCam.
