Something I've Realised..

I've realised that most of the Gaming Forums on here that are running on free forum software are running on MyBB, I don't see allot of PhpBB, SMF or any other free forum software's being used often for a Gaming forum. I just find that interesting.. 😛

I think it's because it's sorta like vB in a way. Guess it's one of the most popular free software these days.

MyBB is actually really good, if customized properly and looks decent.

I use SMF for my forum, which has a video games section, as well as technology sections.

MyBB is decent, but it's also had a handful of security issues.

I use jcink for my RPG forum. And I used invisionfree for the first year of the story. I like them both, but jcink is better for the subaccounts which can be linked to the main account and for the awards and points which can be awarded.
