If anyone doesn't know about this already, there is a fantastic iTunes alternative (brilliant if you use iPods too) called Songbird. Why is it so good Rich? Well, first off, it is completely cross platform. It is open source, free, compatible with iPods and other media players, looks like iTunes so no need to adapt to a new interface, is stable with fairly large libraries and is built on the Mozilla framework!
This means it has stability, extensions and a built in Firefox! So there is no need to have Firefox and Songbird open, just have Songbird as your browser. Of course it is in early days, soon there will be CD ripping, burning, better browser support, more stability and features. It is well worth a shot especially if you are on Linux.
