Move over, Wii.

Sony is looking to bounce Nintendo out of the market with its own motion-controlled video-game system, the PlayStation Move.

Much like the Wii, the Move includes a wand-like controller that tracks a gamer's movements.

But the Sony system also includes a camera -- the Eye -- that will let players project their images and movements into the action.

The gizmo, which is shaped like a microphone with a glowing ball on the end, is due out this fall, but it was not clear how much it would cost.

It was only a matter of time before the idiots copied the Wii.

Except they decided against using 8-bit graphics.

FYI, the PS3 already had a motion sensor thing, just that it never caught on so they updated it.

But still, yeah it looks like an exact copy 😛. I doubt this will help their sales.

The motion-sensor in the original PS3 controls were only minor and the feature was hardly supported in their games. 😛

Figures they would try and copy Natal.
Not really Natal, more like the wii. And I read from an interview of an insider in the industry that Natal is a buggy mess right now. Giving developers a lot of problems. Figures that Peter M. would hype the hell out of it and have a half-assed design; still more innovative that Move though 😛
