I hate sore backs, I had one not so long ago. I ended up staying in bed and watching DVDs. 🙁 Perhaps lay somewhere for a little while if it hurts a bit?

Heat pad, cold beverage and an advil always did the trick for meh 😛

-shivers- I could never have that done, mainly because of the rods in my back. >_<

I always have some aspirin for that, or just crack it, it seems quite good. 😛

Asprin or get some of the heated things you put on your back, I use them for my pains, soothes and helps 🙂

A heat generating rub, Heat packs, Pain killers all will work to a degree but rest is the best 😉
