First Impressions & Appearance - (Out of 20)
The first thing I see on your site is the banner. Not bad, but I don't like how it doesn't take up the entire top of the forum. Make it cover the top and we'll talk

Your theme fits great for a gaming forum, and you made a very good choice here.
The only thing I can suggest changing is the location of the advertisement. There's a little too much emphasis on it with it being at the top and all. Consider moving it to the bottom.
Other than that, your appearance is great and first impressions score well.

Site Layout - (Out of 20)
The advertisement placement & banner placement are really all that I have an issue with here. The banner definently looks poor being in the left and having a little thing saying " Sour Grunt Productions " right next to it just doesn't look good at all.
Your board layout is phenomenal, as a gamer I'd have an easy time navigating to which board I want to discuss games about.
I will, however suggest moving introductions to your top category, this makes members feel most welcome.
Conclusion, layout is great other than ad placement ( move to the bottom ) & the banner being on the left rather than taking up the entire thing.

Statistics and Activity - (Out of 20)
Your board was opened in July 2008, You've got a little less than 6 k posts and 121 members. This is poor, unfortunately. Step up the promotion and step up the post exchanges.

Staff Moderation - (Out of 20)
You have one Administrator, which is ideal on any forum.
Three event staff members sounds good, and it seems in total you've got 5 staff members.
The amount is good, don't hire any more staff for a while.
I've got a bone to pick with you on the activity of your staff though. One staff member hasn't logged in since May 3rd, that's awful. A staff member as inactive like that should be immediately dismissed.
The rest of your staff logs on frequently, but doesn't post enough. Get your staff posting a little more.
The real issue is the activity of that staff member, but also the tiny little nit picky thing is that your staff should post a bit more often.

Your site has a lot of potential, the only significant and need to fix problems are the ad placement and the banner location. Other than that, you need to really pick up the post exchanges, and start promoting more. Then, you will succeed.
