Spam bots???

What is a spam bot?
It's actually someone who sings up to forums, blogs, websites to damage the reputation of the site he/she signs up with : spam advertsing which would be something good in disguise, or a direct spam links and sites those can have adult content, pirated stuff, illegal activity... Unlike regular users, spam bots make 5 or less spam posts or comments with a direct links in their signature, then they leave for good, also spam bots can duplicate more accounts for the same purposes.
Spam bots are known with their mysterious usernames "iriglobgdmwemi" "damkina" "bussuadmwj" and more, also with fake personal information.
If you leave posts like those and spam bots unbanned it ruins your forum, even your account goes suspended by the host.
Here are some tips to avoid spam bots.
1- remove the links from the post, then move it to your trash where must hidden from members.
2- ban Spam accounts from usernames, IP adress, emails.. Then deactivate these accounts.
3- Edit the spam bot's profile and remove all links from.

For better results, Install a good Anti-spam mod for your forum software, if you are on free hosted forum, please contact the support forum.

I was a victim once of a major spam bot attack, and let me tell you, it is no easy task to get rid of them all. I suggest having good anti-spam measures in place at all times.
