I have been continually receiving anonymous emails that say my email account is to expire. They come in different colors and sizes but with one main message for an intention, i.e. to click the accompanying link that says will update or upgrade your email account. The subject is sometimes scary – Your Yahoo email account will expire. In fairness to the spammer, I’m sure they are getting lots of hits for their website with that gimmick.

I get a lot of those myself, NEVER click the link they show. If you are really concerned that it might be true,
contact your e-mail provider directly to verify if there is any real problem.
Recently I got one to my own e-mail service,... that is to say, I own the server, I host the e-mail, and I am the only one that could
terminate the e-mail service.
