I wonder why I am still getting spam emails until now. Isn't email marketing is already obsolete in favor of social media? And although I am reading in some forums that there are marketing campaigns using email, I don't think it is that effective anymore. I made a personal survey of friends in Facebook. That 17 out of 20 that I asked said they rarely open their email accounts because Facebook is now their primary communication line. So I guess spamming in social media is more effective than spamming in emails. What is your take on this issue?

I'm getting 200 a day(spam emails)
Maybe those are spam emails that you have been getting since before, and they just didn't change their strategy to be updated with the current situations. Emailing is also better for spamming since you really don't get block while you can get reported on facebook.
