There's a color picker in the navigation menu that lets you choose any color, so... yeah. 🙂
I'm working on making the default color black (which is what it used to be, but the color picker changed it... somehow)

A forum's look/appearance should make it easy for viewers to see the site and read its content. Unfortunately, the theme you are using on Spam Heaven is not fulfilling that purpose. From your logo to your category titles (h2) to your actual content in topics, I find myself either squinting to read or turning my head to avoid a headache. I hate to sound this harsh, but unfortunately there isn't much good I can say about this design. Your colors aren't doing anything for you (they don't really even go well together). On a forum called Spam Heaven, I would expect that you want members to stick around and post, post and then post some more. All I want to do on your site is close the tab.
You'll be much better off changing your theme design as soon as possible.

You're essentially a general discussion forum, but your title of "spam heaven" gives me the sense that you are a less strict and "fun" community with little care about the content quality. I'd imagine you aren't looking to make money off a site with spam in the title, and you're just doing this to post and have fun. You've taken an uncommon approach to a general discussion forum and for that I applaud you. Your Arcade section says not an actual arcade (just forum games), but you should look into adding a forum arcade for flash games and such. Add some cool features like that, give members some perks like custom name colors, etc. to make yourself stand out and be more of the "fun" forum you appear to be going for. Overall though, you're not doing bad in originality.

I can understand that professionalism may not be your top priority on a forum such as this, but it is important regardless of your niche. Seeing forum titles like "Help me pl0x" and forum descriptions like "^^^" pointing back to the topic title don't give me the best impression of your site. Your forum titles and descriptions in general are boring - come up with some more creative (and properly written) ways to label your sections and this will help you stand out above other forums as well. Maybe play off the "Heaven" part of your name - St. Pete's Gates for your introductions section? Just things like that will improve your index and guest impressions tremendously.
While this may not be the most serious forum, you still need to show people you take the forum seriously and that you've put work into it (and that you won't close it on a whim some day).

Honestly, your biggest issue and top priority is your design. This was not an easy review to do because of your site appearance. Fix that and change your theme before anything else. The rest is very minor in comparison.

Yeah, I'd take this section of your review seriously if it actually backed up any of its points. Regarding the colors, what's wrong with them? Purple and black go relatively well together, and I've gotten nothing but good feedback on them. IMO the only design issue is the default thead color, which is a result of the color picker. I may end up removing it entirely unless I find out how to fix the CSS.

Well the first thing I see is the default theme for myBB so that needs to be fixed unless you want that to be your default theme. I switched to the purple theme and I like it although the logo could do with a bit of work to make it look slightly more professional. Forums are really active and you have a variety of active members which is always good. Love how you offer the image as usernames thing for free which is really nice. Overall a good forum although a few things could be done to improve the appearance 😉

The logo doesn't really match the forums overall theme, I don't usually mix M&M's with spam, nor heaven. So I do agree you should look into more of a professional logo.
I personally think the background should be fixed, it's annoying scrolling down and having this background follow you, it makes the forum seem longer than it really is. (But that's just me...)
Overall I like the purple and the theme, however the images you use for the ranks and the stars are...umm...not exactly flattering with the theme. It's like you just chose the ones you saw and added them, and they don't really match anything within the forum. And some usergroups have so many stars it goes to a second line and for me I find that a bit tacky. 😛
Other than that it looks like a fun forum, content is good and you make the tabbed boards work nicely. Good luck with the forum. 🙂

As I said to kingcool52, a new logo is coming soon. 😀 This is just a temporary solution.
I see what you mean with the background. Will fix that.
Images for the ranks? Pretty sure there's only one... which is mine. I'll make a nicer one though, and, believe it or not, I used to actually have even more stars than what you see now. (around, like 50 😀) Will lower them to something better.
