Don't we all wish that our site could be found so easy by other as what the spammers find it. My site has only been open a few days and already I have hoards of spammers knocking on the door 😀

Fortunately so far only one has managed to get into the forum and was banned as the first post was posted.

that's apart of running an forum, I had two spammers in the past 2 years. Others can't pass the join in part as my software removes them right after they enter there email

I think that people are too harsh with spammers. I like to have pleasant conversations with the spammers that register on my forum. I've learned a ton about prescription drugs and internet pornography this way.

A lot of the members signing up, maybe most, would be profile spammers. Note, even disabling signature links won't stop them.
