Sports or Sport?

Does it matter, and is it worthy of a debate topic? IMO both answers are no.

Its sports. The 's' on the end indicates its plural. This isnt really a debate, its basic language skills. -lol- ~lol~

Wikipedia:
In all English dialects, "sports" is the term used for more than one specific sport.

look at it this way

SPORT is singulalr

Eg- Do you like this sport?

SPORTS is plural

Eg- Do you play any kind of sports?

Exactly, but this very forum have a section called "Sport", which only means talking about one sport, since there isn't an "s" at the end to indicate more than one sport...

Also, the forum's description is: "Talk about everything to do with sport here." which is incorrect because it should be "sports" not "sport" because, again, talking about more than one... -D-

In the UK we usually tend to say sport instead of sports, so we would say 'you should play some sport' even if it is incorrect.

But, it doesn't even sound good... It sounds like something is missing and that's the "s" at the end of the word to indicate more than one...

I don't know, saying "Let's play some sport." sounds really weird and silly to me... -happy-

But me and Fowler are from the UK so we are obviously going to spell things the way we usually do.

Does it matter the way say things anyway, I mean who cares if someone says a word wrong.

Well if I'm talking about more than 1 sport, then I say sports. But if I'm talking about only 1 sport, then I say sport.
