About a week ago, we received feedback on the direction that FP is taking, and how we can better focus our efforts. We have now begun making changes to tighten our focus. FP is about one thing at its core: helping forum admins to promote and enhance their sites. With these changes, and the ones that are coming down the pipeline, we hope that we can continue to find new ways to help improve your site.
NEW! The Community Billboard
Several weeks ago, when we upgraded to phpBB 3.1, we removed the old Spotlights section, in which the Forum of the Month, Site of the Month, and Forum Redirect winners were promoted. At popular request, we have decided to bring that section back, including an appealing visual overhaul.
NEW! Forum Reshuffle
FP is about one thing: forums. To tighten our focus on this, we have made a few changes to how our forum index is laid out.

We are currently working on new ways to help promote your site. You will be hearing more on some of these pretty soon, so please hang tight! As always, your feedback is very much appreciated. - New to FP has been moved down: New to FP has been moved down near the bottom of the index, to put more focus on what makes FP important: services, the marketplace, and admin discussion.
- Development Discussion and Graphic & Web Design have been merged: We have decided to merge these two forums into one board, which will make the section more active, and also put more emphasis on discussing ways to run your forum.
- Official Extensions is now a webpage: Our official phpBB extensions can now be downloaded from a webpage, instead of a forum. The link can be found on the top navigation bar. This will put additional focus on our main service forums.
