Squarespace vs Shopify: Which is better?

They are both competitors, but which is better? Which one do you use, and which one do you recommend? Currently, in 2026, which of the two is the better option for creating your e-commerce store?

They aren't competitors, Shopify is basically an ecommerce platform where as squarespace is multi purpose platform, you can use it for blogging, ecommerce as well as portfolio website

I haven’t used any of these but if I was planning an online store, I would go with Shopify because it is more popular.
