Hello everyone,

After a recent discussion about having a SSL certificate on FP in the Community Matters forum, I'm pleased to announce that we have finally installed it on the forum. SSL will bring FP many benefits and you can read more about SSL in this article to find out how this can benefit FP in the future.

With any new features, there can be bugs or issues so if you do face any issues, please report it in the Community Matters forum.

Kind regards,
Forum Promotion Administration Team

Yeah, that day has come that I was waiting for and still makes me bored 😛 good to see and nice green affect bar and also google won't be on FP backs.

Congratulations 🙂

Login didn't work for me initally even though I used https:// URL. Had to refresh page 5 times before it worked 😀

Other than that, It's really nice to see ForumPromotion using SSL for even more encryption and security when browsing 🙂

Did you have an adblocker on? Sometimes features on the forum don't work with an adblocker.

Similar issue myself, and no Ad Blocker here.

It doesn't redirect non-HTTP traffic to HTTPS traffic at the moment but any site links direct you to HTTPS.

Could do with adding in the auto redirect to force it. There's no reason to not have it.

I suggest you all turn on proxy for links and images to make sure assets are proxied under your domain, to keep the SSL active.

http traffic isn't being redirected to the https site. And @MasterA I NEVER use an AdBlocker on ForumPromotion 😛

I still can't login on the HTTP site which is fine but it doesn't redirect me to the HTTPS version

I'm good, having no problems at all 🙂

The redirect should definitely be setup, especially since the http gives errors when you try and login through it.

I have added a force SSL rule now and whenever you try to accept the HTTP, you should automatically get redirected to HTTPS. The login issue should also be fixed but please let me know if you still face issues.

That has also been enabled now.

Works well 🙂
