What's the point of signing up for staff then only going on your site, then when kindly reminded about they're position, they bitch and whine? I'm about to bot everyone off staff, as most aren't posting, My co-admin has school work to do, etc etc. When I had SMF people joined, but now no one is coming onto the site like they used to, I woudl on average get like 3 guests. But they wont sign up. Any suggestions? My site just started. I have almost no members and I'm about to give up. I understand my Board has nothing unique. But it's pretty damn hard to do that now. So I'm semi-pissed off. I'm ready to quit my site.
Look for other sites which cater for the age group you are wanting to cater for on the forum.
Are you a fan of myspace, facebook or twitter?
Regarding staff positions for people to be staff on my forums I have a general rule of at least two weeks active membership first plus an application form which has to be filled in.
Your forum is very new and it is not very active yet. Why do you need staff at this time? You might consider managing the forum on your own for a while. Then when it gets busy ask an active staff member, whom you trust if they would like to help out on the staff. That way you will only have staff who are genuinely interested in your site.
First thing you wanna do is stop changing forum software from one to another.. I mean seriously..it annoys me when I have pretty much post all I could the next thing I see they moved to something else and I need to re-register.. >_>
oh yeah since it's for rants.. I have one.. Why someone would register and not post? I mean outside the register exchange thingg
I'm sorry if I offended anyone with the term "Joos". It was meant as another term for You's. "You's following my forum?" Is what was implied, nothing racist.
