When you're looking to become a staff member at a forum, what staff team do you usually prefer?

Why that position? When applying for the position, what do you look at around the forum first?

Community or services.

I'm a good poster, pretty active too, talk to anyone etc etc.

I've done services on a forum once, forgot the name though but it was popular on ZB and I actually had fun going to new places, fulfilling requests and meeting new people along the way.

Preferably moderator. This would also be true if I didn't have my own forum.

Most likely a global/super moderator. I generally like helping out forums and making them better places, getting rid of any spammers, punishing rule breakers, also be a happy face within the community, and approachable - should members have a question or even an issue with something. Admin is fine too, but I think that's way too high up for my liking (more responsbilities/tasks to undertake daily). 😛

When I apply for the position, I tend to be active and contribute as much as I can. The community would have to be one that I really enjoying being a part of. 😀

Being a mod is really the only thing I'm remotely good at. 😛 Even then it's sort of a long shot. xD

I really only prefer to be a moderator, Package Team or anything else is not my kind of deal. I ban people, I don't do anything else. xD

Usually, I don't apply for a position on a forum unless I know that position is going to be unlike any of the other positions I've had; even if they hold the same responsibilities. The forum has to be different, otherwise, I'm just another moderator that doesn't care about the forum. 😛

Package Team as I get to go to forums I don't normally go on to help them out with a couple of posts/topics. Even if they're the same repeated forums like promotion etc I still get paid to do it either in forum currency or real cash.

My standards have increased over time. Someone who is really active, can generate exclusive content, and knows how to get everyone more engaged.

When I am looking to become staff at a forum, I would send my application to the Package Team Leader or the Admin (If they run the administration differently). I really enjoy posting on forums, it's actually one of my hobbies. The package team can be very rewarding to on most forums and on most forums you are rewarded in forum currency and that forum currency can be spent on services around the forum.

Probably a moderator. I feel like I can help the forum out a whole lot more as a global moderator.

I usually look at the activity and the current staff members.
