So I went to Star Wars last night and I have to say I was sort of disappointed.

Firstly the scene where Adam Drivers character Kylo talks to the mask of Darth Vader... it wasn't shown for all that long. Sort of disappointing - though I did love the mask.

The end was a little dry. Mark Hamill as Luke did not say a single word. I love Mark because of his voice actor role as The Joker in Batman animated movies and TV shows. Was a bit disappointed.

The film score also was a little dry in some parts.

I did really enjoy the film as I am a major Star Wars fan - I just felt it could have done with a bit more.

What would you have liked them to do more of?

I thought the film was phenomenal. It was just the type of genius film JJ Abrams would do. I mean they left so many things unanswered and I love that because it gives the next two films so much room to expand. I loved the mystery of not knowing where Luke Skywalker was. The chase for Luke really drives the film and I loved that.

Kylo Ren was a bad-ass character. He was very well thought out. An unstable sith with not much control over his emotions. Interesting to see where they will do with him.

Also, very curious as to whom Rey is related to. Many theories surfacing that it is Luke Skywalker's daughter, but I am not 100% convinced yet.

Well for Luke to actually have talked? Even say boo?

Eh, I don't mind. It made for a super powerful scene though. The music, the wind, the stare-down. So good. 🙂
