So, any Star Wars fans here? I like Star Wars, and I am hoping that the 7th film that is being made (even though the director that is making it, is known for making great action movies), isn't made to look like a typical Disney movie.

I'm a fan, and I do have high hopes for the 7th film. I'm curious how the story will progress as they ended it very well

I totally love Star Wars and I can't wait to see the 7th film. Like many others, I wonder how the story will continue on seeing as how they tied up everything at the end of the 6th film. Regardless, I'm excited for more Star Wars on the big screen.

I'm a huge Star Wars fan, and always have been (anyone know who my avatar is of? 😉). I'm looking forward to the 7th movie, but I'm also very, very weary of JJ, and worry he won't do it justice.

Who knows what J.J. Abrams has in store with the movie. It might turn out well though. 🙂

One of the things I've noticed about the movie is one of the new light-saber designs. The villain has the two blades coming from the handle than the regular red blade that's normal length. I'm honestly kind of worried that they are going to try to appeal to a younger audience with more crude weapon designs that you'd typically see smaller children fantasize over.

You know, I never thought about it this way. I could see that happening. However, I was also always enthralled with the idea of "light whips" and the dual-bladed sabers such as Maul's. Exotic weapons aren't horrible, unless they're just totally out there.

Light whips wouldn't work as you can't bend light. While Star Wars doesn't exactly follow convention scientific laws, it kind of adds to my worries that they are going to try to appeal to young children rather than a more mid/dedicated fan base.

I'm sure the new Star Wars movie will turn out right. It has such a huge fan base, its sure to be successful. 🙂

It's been a long time since I watched one of these! I should re watch these movies some time soon. 🙂

We should have a Forum Promotion Star Wars marathon!

Ha ha, yes we should! 😛

What do you guys think about the new Stormtrooper armor?

The helmet is confirmed to be the new Stormtrooper helmet. The rest of it has not been confirmed to be the new armor.

Just saying - everything announced so far and that I've seen is making me so excited to see all of this in the new movie. This is the best time for me to be a Star Wars fan as I was not alive in the 70's. Really thankful for this experience I will be getting this December.

Some of my pickups from Force Friday! I ended up getting a few more things after this picture was taken.

I picked up a Elite Series Kylo Ren at the Disney Store at my local mall the other day. I will edit with a picture later.

Because of all the merch you have. Especially for the upcoming movie.
It's sooo expensive here for a tee.
