starcraft reminds me too much of warcraft. But nonetheless starcraft 2 still looks good. But i am not extremely excited for it, i would rather play other games on most occassions.

warcraft & starcraft are essentially the same thing just different story lines, races, etc. so they should remind you of each other.

I'm debating on buying Starcraft 2, I never played Starcraft 1 because I couldn't stand the 2D graphics after playing Warcraft 3

I would say to give it a try Daniell, the graphics are vastly improved compared to WC and SC1, although still based off the same kind of structure, the gameplay has expended enormously.. the new editor that blizzard provides lets people make maps (games) that can do literally anything. They let you go in FIRST person or THIRD person for the map just as if you were playing a FPS or a MMO which lets those map creators make real games out of the maps.

I signed up for beta but have not gotten an invite yet. I plan on buying it when it comes out though. Hopefully my computer can support it.
