When you start a forum, do you prefer to start small and grow steadily or to start small and grow fast? You might think growing fast is the best solution, but there could be down sides, such as if lots of people join quickly and then only post once or twice and leave. Where as, securing even a few diehard loyal members weekly who post lots and don't leave might be the best long term strategy. The first way simply gives you content, but the second gives you a strong member base that will return time and again over the years. What is your strategy for forum growth?
