What made you start your forum/blog/website? What motivates you to keep going and keep working on your site day after day? Where do you see your site going?

Funds also right, then again can do it free to start off with

Largely boredom, but also because it's something I enjoy doing and I seem to have a knack for it..

When Umbrella Online last operated there were several Resident Evil fan sites around, now they're pretty few and far between.. I'm hopeful that I've timed it just right with Resident Evil Village, a Netflix series, and a rumoured film reboot, and I can continue to substantially grow the project.

I already have a few ideas floating around, but they also depend on a couple add-ons being further along with their development than they are at present.

Christianity Haven was created when I requested a Christian forum be built after getting fired from a really big forum. I needed a home forum to go to every day and really thought my friends from the big site would follow me. Not too many came over 🙁

I just recently created Crafter Craze and this is for a different purpose. I realized that I was bookmarking a lot of craft projects in my browser and then never looking at those bookmarks ever again and I wanted to go back and be able to see things...so I created the forum more for my purpose of having an online filing cabinet? Also it would be great to have craft discussion because there are times I'd like to ask others for help or opinion and this is a good way to achieve that.

What made me start my site is the motivation to have a discussion board not limited to only 1 topic. I don't ever want to limit my site at all. I want the topics to be broad where you can talk about anything in a discussion board.

We started our site for graphics and coding. At the time there was a need for graphics and coding from people starting their own boards, we had another one before that but it didn't meet our needs or purpose, so we incorporated both into the one we have now. Helping people with graphics of all kinds for their websites, blogs, boards, custom themes, what ever. It is something we enjoy, and we also like creating art.

I just started another forum after a long time of not really getting into forums. It’s doing well so I’m starting to get into it all again. I’m just going to welcome it to be a slow process so that I don’t get overwhelmed in trying to make it the best of the best.

I started my blog, The Fireside Chats, because I love reading and I don't really have anyone to discuss it with. On the blog, I can discuss it all I want to and people who are interested in it can read it all they want.

I started my site due to a deep seated love of the subject matter. I wanted a place to just nostalge with people.

My answer is pretty much the same as Abizaga's to be honest. Apart from a couple (Out of boredom in the beginning of Lockdown and the end of March 2020), generally the rest have been all specific interests and/or deep passions of mine that I want to share sicussions with others. Some more succesful than others, some not always working.

However, I do think the ones you are deeply invested or have a passion in/for, work more. There's no point making something for the sake of making it, as, generally it won't work out or be as successful, your heart will never be fully comitted to it.
