Starting a Forum?

Try to learn from other sites that have the same subject matter as yours. Learn from their mistakes and strong points.

I have been at the forum game for just over a month and have reached the lofty hights of 15 members.

You need to be dedicated and make lots of posts to yourself initially to make your forum look active, then get posting on here, it appears to be the best vehicle for forum promotion.

The way I have done it till converting to promotion sites is email and myspace at first. Didn't do very well
