Starting my own SMF host

I am starting my own SMF forum host. I am nearly finsihed, almost ready to launch.

I have a few questions, what do you think the link back should be like? I was thinking 'Free Forums by SMFree' ??

I am going to be getting a bit of revenue from these forums so I want to put some Ads by Google on there. Do you think this will put people off.

Are you saying it would be web hosting, and you get a smf board, or like a freeforums.org for smf?

I am looking to get a nice domain name, so you'll be able to have a subdomain of that.

Yes, they can't edit any coding for the forum. There will be 30 skins pre-loaded on there. I will add some mods like the portal, credits and a chat box.

I think I will launch it on sunday. I want to get my support forum nice before launch.

smfforfree isn't the best, I can also spread the word.
smfforfree, you can only have the default skin and various colors of it.

Smfforfree is covered in ads and the versions are outdated.

I might buy smfree.de
then the forums would be ------.smfree.de

I think you should get a .com because that is more universal. de is denmark? That would probably be better in google denmark searches, but if you want it, go for it! I know a LOT of domains that start of with SMF are registered and....parked -n-
