Just recently (lastnight), I started to hear static in my headphones. Well, the static went away for a while, and now it's back. Please don't tell me this means my headphones are going dead. -_-

They could be picking up some random frequency. Do you live near a radio tower?

Been gaming for a while now and once the headset does that means you will soon need a new pair 😀

Which ones are you currently using?

Maybe it's your wires for the headphones since when my wires are tangled they get static. Also check the wires and plug for damage.

I get that, I know what it is.

Your headphones may becoming to an end. Try turning the headphone where it plugs in, if it starts getting staticy then they will die.

This is proven, happened to me twice. Try a new pair in the socket and see if rotating it wil create static. If it does, consider cleaning to headphone input.

Or it could just be a cheap pair of headset.
He implies that he has had them for a while and he is sad to see them go, which means he probably likes them and arnt cheap

I like my headset and they cost me 270$ and i consider it a cheap headset.

By saying cheap i mean the quality.

I could make a sex reference out of this, but I'm more mature than that.

If that's what I think he means, then yes, I have had that problem before as well. Try doing like what the Hat Tipper says, and if they don't work, that means they're dying out.

You do that and let me know how it goes.
