I eat my steak medium well done. Where I live there is a grocery store that will put filet mignon on Manager's Special from time to time so I can get 2 or 3 of those for under $10 and they're amazing!
I like my steak medium-rare. I like to be able to taste the meat as I believe it should be. I think it is near a sin to take an expensive beautiful piece of meat and turn it into charcoal. Having said that, I will end with having it your way. The way you like it is the best way for you.
