Stealing other site's ideas?

Do you steal other site's ideas? Have some of your good ones gotten stolen?

I don't like people stealing my ideas so I don't steal theirs. I may have the wheels turning in my head off of one that I have seen however. Some ideas can be so similar & can be found over the internet, you never know if somebody is stealing yours or you use similar websites.
I have had some people take some of my ideas & posts. I could never be 100% sure if it was just a coincidence however.

Sometimes we do things without even knowing that other sites even or already have it in place, doesn't mean it's stolen though. I have when I started back in the day but that was when I was young and new and just a idiot

A lot of forums lack originality these days. Same ideas, concepts, etc are repeated over and over again. I think its kind of hard to be original when almost every idea has been thought of already though. There's only so many things you can do with a forum.

I think no idea is original. Therefore, when your forum idea matches with other forum niches, it cannot be called stealing. However, I am against stealing topics and posts.

There are so many good ideas, just those ideas fail, primarily down to the lack of members and interests.

Some of the ones I've come up with are halfway there, take one idea and add a spin to it, it's very tough to think of anything a forum hasn't already done.

I hate when people take other people's ideas especially if it is something unique. I have many a time had my ideas stolen and seen them used on other forums or even websites and it doesn't make me feel very good about it.

I am all for getting inspiration from others for ideas of my own but in no way would I ever steal others' ideas.
