Meh, just though it would be interesting to have a thread like this. Random thoughts of what gamers think of the sell and games they bought via this style format.

-How has it been treating your wallet?
I have taken a little hit from the flash sales myself.

-What do you think of the race mumbo jumbo? What team did you get on and have you crafted?
Personally I think it is quiet silly. It is so userbase rigged. People are just agreeing on what day which colored team wins. I don't know how that idea of it getting rigged got passed Valve. Only thing I can say is Valve did right in terms of a business standpoint this sale. Making people buy games to get cards or market place to get cards all to race to hope to be one of the thirty selected people that crafted on the team. What a low number for so many people that spend money on this stuff.

I was placed in the Pink team. I crafted the badge to level three hoping to get BattleBlocks items. Instead only got WarFrame & community items. Wish they just brought back that ticket system for achievements they had in a winter sale to get the goodies. They had a game give away too for tickets.

-What games or DLC have you bought so far? If none you waiting on something to drop price? or Are the games just what you already own?
I picked up Insurgency, Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition, Teleglitch: Guns and Tunes, Sins of a Dark Age, Borderlands 2: Headhunter 5: Son of Crawmerax, Outlast: Whistleblower DLC, & Betrayer.

-Of what you bought & played, what is your first impression? How would you rate the game or DLC? What does it remind you of? What if your opinion of it?
I started a bit of Insurgency & kind of like it. Reminds me a little bit of Counter-Strike.

I picked up Half Life 1 and 2 for like $3.99 each this Summer Sale. I really want to buy some more games, but I'm on a budget but it's so tempting. Dx I haven't played either game just yet, been addicted to Sonic Adventure 2 and Warframe as of late. 😛

So far i've only gotten Alan Wake during a flash sale. I'm really hoping to pick up I Am Alive also.

I used to own Alan Wake and loved it on the 360, since I recently sold it, before completing it, I thought i'd pick it up again.

I personally haven't crafted any badges as I haven't spent a lot of cash nor have rank 8 to get the free cards.

I wish they just did it by game time...you'd think that would be the easiest way for it to be done for the community.

Great games & even better for the mods.

Alan Wake was a fun game. You get the expansion or well second game? I personally was not a big fan of the second one. I still have to complete that myself, I just stopped halfway in.

Should get on getting badge 8 at least for the cards. Higher the level the better the drops you get at random & coupon codes. I got a few beta games even from having a higher level. Also, you can sell the cards & game items too for some money to put in your next purchases too. I got a few extra games for selling my cards. I got a two foil cards recently to make 6USD. 😀

Game time for the items? If so, that would be nice, but you know Valve, that would not happen most likely. No real means of promotion to sell multiple games. Though I do wish Valve would be like uPlay on the unlocking of DLC through achievement points. It really would kill some of that day one DLC and save you some money in the long run. Not to mention give me a reason to actually care about achievements. I just never cared to much for them. *Shrugs*

Alan wake was very fun, second game doesn't interest me much. Already play enough of those type. 😛

Didn't have much cash to spend, so I just ended up getting the cards and selling them as fast as I could. I also got a foil, but by the time I got it it was only worth $2.

I love the way uPlay has a points system setup. Especially since they transfer between games.
