Stellar Recharge is a General Chat Community with an edge on Gaming and Technology. Currently we are in the stages of getting off of our feet and getting our game faces on. It's just me, myself and I working on the website currently and I need all the help and criticism I can get to get this forum tip top and into shape. The theme can be changed, however not drastically. I am heading for a simplistic theme that is easy on the eyes, but still looks good and pleasing. Please let me know how I can improve! With all the competition out there, I am going to need all the help I can get, so I am looking to you experienced forum owners to give me that help and assistance. I'd appreciate constructive criticism, however I know I will meet those select few who don't like me, my personality, my web-personality, or anything else about me that doesn't please them (yes, I know they are out there because I've met quite a few), but that doesn't really bother me, UNLESS they come to my forum and do it (which has also happened before). Anyway, thanks in advance and enjoy the rest of the topic where I will explain my goal in all of this, the websites story, where and why we started, and all the other goodies.

My goal in all of this is really to have fun, which I am, however a long term goal would be to become successful, like many forum owners dream of. Successful in my terms in not hundreds, thousands, millions, or any ridiculously large amount of posts. Successful in my terms it to be able to host a loving community, where the members really feel they can connect with the staff members and administrators. It really sickens me when members aren't having fun and leave on bad terms. I'd much rather have them leave respectfully with a nice goodbye topic and then slowly retire into a respectful retired rank and leave the forum. This happens in family-oriented communities. I really care about my members safety, and well-being. Honestly, I don't know how many do this, but if someone is having problems, I do PM them and see if I can be of assistance. I try to comfort those that I can, and it is usually successful, and we end up being pretty good friends. I sincerely hope that my goal comes to life, as that would be the epitome of success and fun for me. I would love to run a community like that!

When I bought the domain name in late 2011, the original incentive was to provide the latest and greatest on Stellar Dawn, an (at the time) upcoming science fiction M.M.O.R.P.G by Jagex, Ltd.

However, development on said game was halted, and so, our support of it halted. I then took the website down, thinking that there would be no use for it. Until I thought of having a new community. One that I could have fun running, but still be somewhat successful in terms of having a family oriented and safe, loving community. Hence development on the new website began, about a week ago. I whipped a very simplistic forum theme, installed a few plugins, and began posting a bit. Today I've started up with making advertisement threads. I don't plan on going to utterly far into these, for the sole reason that I do not believe that websites should be based on members that have come in, seeing some advertisement thread, introducing themselves, and leaving for a few community bucks they get at another forum. That is kind of stupid to me, however, I guess it makes the forum look appealing to some people. For whatever reason, I do not know. The website was started in my room, on my old hunk-o-junk desktop PC. Since then, I've upgraded it and added a few new parts and RAM, so that it can deal with all the tabs I have open when creating, and developing new content for the website and making advertisements. It should cope well (now at least 😛).

Not much to say here other than I sincerely hope that some of you enjoyed this topic and are able to provide me with some constructive criticism on how I can improve the theme (remember, nothing drastic!) and content, and anything else you'd like me to know! I don't really expect my member base to increase with this thread, but it would totally awesome if it did. It'd be great to have a start. Anyway, if you've read through this entire post, first, I'd like to congratulate you on making it through, LOL. Secondly, I'd like to thank you for taking the time of your day, night, afternoon, whatever (haha) to read this. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I hope you will come and check out my small little website 🙂
