Stick shift or Auto?

Which do you prefer?

Honestly I have not learned how to drive a stick shift. I'm not that coordinated, I know how to drive but I'm still learning and I'd rather not be distracted by more things, ya know? I prefer automatic, keeps some of the distraction down.

Which do you prefer, and if you prefer stick shift, when did you learn?

I can't drive a stick shift so I drive an automatic.

I don't think I am ever going to learn how to drive a stick shift. 😛

It depends on the transmission. I drive a stick, and I've been doing it for ten years, so I can shift a lot better than a worn transmission. I'd prefer a good transmission as an automatic, but transmissions are pretty expensive, so I'll just stick with my stick. 😀

I prefer an automatic. I'm not sure if I can even drive a stick.

I prefer driving automatic because I tend to get very distracted at times. I can drive stick though and I don't really mind it.

I've only driven automatic, so I suppose that is my preference. 😛

Would love to learn stick-shift eventually.

I'm still learning so I don't really have a preference right now. My driving course taught me the stick shift first, but lately my Dad drags me to learn automatic on weekends. I'm not sure why but it seems I drive better with the stick shift. In the long run I think I'd prefer auto, though.
