Stig reveal who he is.

For anyone who watches TopGear you will now who The Stig is.
I posted it in Sporting discussions because driving is a sport but then Top Gear is media so i done heads or tails.

I am not sure but someone told me this was released ages ago but this seems quite new.

I'm in two minds. Whilst I think he honestly could be the stig because of the immense driving ability and lap times , Clarkson hinted at the end there's a chance it wasn't the "real stig" and winked at the camera. ~confuse~

Would love to hear some more opinions.

It's Ben Collins, it was clearly a publicity stunt.

Also it would have clashed with the Formula 1 calender a few years ago.

See if i have to be honest, i honestly think it is.
I barely watch TG now, but at times the Stig has always walked the same way with that swagger and i have heard Michael Shumacker(can't spell it) is quite a quiet guy, and i could believe that that is him.

EDIT: Everyone's say it is Micahel but i honestly want to know who is the real STIG.

When you watch the interview you can tell he is acting it out, plus they are just doing this to get people watching the TV show again. I personally dont think its him, and i dont think he should ever be revealed, its the fun of not knowing. Plus i just read this:

The BBC have confirmed that Schumacher was the person in the Stig helmet driving his own Ferrari FXX for the Power Lap.

Apparently the BBC said that it was a joke and a one off appearance by Michael Shumacher.

and
The Stig

Why would it have that if he was the Stig, it would have something like Michael Schumacher aka The Stig.

It is so obvious he isn't the stig. Why would they reveal it? Loads of people have been guessing who he is and that generates more interest and publicity for them and the stig is something Top Gear is famous for and a reason why alot of people know of Top Gear. Would they really reveal who he was?

I am thinking back a few years about the Grande Prix, i can't work it out.
For all we know the Stig could be our dads or cousins.
I think it rotates between boy racers.
