Have you ever gone to bed at a really good time, but the following morning you get up still feeling like you barely got any sleep?

What helps with that?

How are your thyroid numbers? I get tired when mine are out of whack. And I also get tired when I have sinus issues going on due to rain or allergies.

I just eat sugar to perk up a bit 😀 It's not for everyone.

I haven't thought of that. I guess it wouldn't hurt to get that checked at my next doctor's appt. Sometimes I do get light headed when I haven't eaten. I do hope I'm not becoming diabetic. 😱

I end up going to bed, taken forever to sleep and feel half dead when waking up and see that I been in bed longer then being awake

Eh, depends on if I wake up a couple times, and try to force myself to hit 8 hours of sleep. Whenever I try to force myself to get that amount, without actually letting my body decide when i wake up, I end up getting more tired than I should after 8 hours of sleep.

You're most likely suffering from sleeping sickness 😂..

No kidding, you might be down with a bug.. Go for medical check up.

I do have sleep apnea. I wonder if it has anything to do with the air pressure from my CPAP? icon_neutral.gif

Yep

Sleep apnea here and not a compliant CPAP user... Yep, totally!

It happens often and those are times when I walked under the sun the previous day. The sun makes me unnecessarily tired.

That is true, it may not be all that easy for us to make a diagnosis of what may be causing that general body imbalance. It might be related to the quality of your sleep, which can be affected by factors like sleep disorders, stress, or your sleep environment. Other health conditions, like anaemia or thyroid-related issues, could all be possible contributing factors.

Sometimes it happens and mostly because of some internal stress, but once completely wake up in Morning then nothing could be done. I have to face the tough schedule.

I feel like this is the story of my life. I’ll sleep four hours. I’ll sleep twelve hours. Still tired.

I've had the same issue recently and been to the doctor about it, I've been referred for a sleep study but they suspect it is down to the actual quality of the sleep you are getting rather than how long you sleep/if you are actually sleeping.

I go through this more often than I like to admit. I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia which causes me to not fully shut off when I sleep even though I may think I have. It is a pain but something I do have to deal with.

If you do feel tired still after 8 hours of sleep, I would get checked by your doctor for any underlying issues.

On occasion, I have been through a particular experience where, even after getting a full 8-hour sleep, I still feel tired and sleepy the following day. Unfortunately, this is a common occurrence for me, primarily due to my chronic illness.

Sometimes so much sleep also make me sluggish. 6 hours sleep is good for me
