On this other forum, some threads are brought out about stoicism (the art of not complaining) - so I figure today's society must be overboard with primadonnas. In other words, some people are demanding so many rights - mainly fueled by identity politics - that it's a real crisis.

O.K. how do you all feel about it?

Generation Z gives me a headache. They are so sensitive. I'm glad I was raised when I was. If I wasn't, I would be jobless and trying to make it famous on Youtube. I would probably also identify as something other than a male or female. lol Being raised in this society would have set me up for failure.

I don't think trying to make it big online is primadonna - but it can be. I mean, isn't that what people on here are doing?

We aren't Youtubers. What we do take a little bit more work. But I don't think it's primadonna either. I think it's very gen z.

YouTube stuff that actually wins requires work - otherwise it won't go nowhere.

Nonetheless, there has always been talented people who - despite marketing - didn't hit it big. Wasn't that the plot to Airheads (the movie) - lol?

Of course Youtubing takes work, just not hard work. Doesn't take much to figure out how to work a camera and gain followers. But if it works, it works.

But what are they doing? Is it music instruments, singing, political commentary? Of course, they need to be good at what they're doing. Is that the problem?
