Governments across the world are trying again. So soon? Yes! So soon!
They will not stop it seems...Now they want to pass a law called ACTA.
ACTA stands for Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement.
It's pretty much, in our eyes (the people of the internet) another name for SOPA.

By the way, just a quick update, in case you don't already know...
Megaupload was shut down today by the FBI and its owner,
Kim Dotcom (love the name!) was fined $500 million in damages
caused by the sharing of copyright material on their servers.
Kim, and three others, were also arrested.
And this all happened a day after thousands of websites went on strike
against SOPA and PIPA. These new laws must not go through,
or more sites will suffer the same fate as Megaupload.
Apparently if you were to upload a Michael Jackson song you could get up to 5 years in jail
under the new SOPA and PIPA laws. That's a year more than the guy who killed him. :shock: :shock:

Guys, we did it.
"we" being the entire Internet.
Google, Wikipedia, thousands of other people...and us (we played our part).
The SOPA laws have been abolished due to immense online protest.

But I recently learned about something else...ACTA.
Can you believe it? ACTA? So soon after SOPA and PIPA???
