Nothing is going to happen though in terms of us dieing -n- They wouldn't be doing it is there was any chance of it ending the world.

I believe this whole "Black Hole" and "Apocalypse" thing is mere propaganda.

As said, there would be no way that they would be allowed to turn it on if there is the safety of the public involved. The Media have a way of making small things seem like huge events - it's how they make money.

Steven Hawking said that any black holes that this collider made would evaporate before they had the chance to grow and do any damage.
