OMG! Now people are creating promotion sites! It's weird! I think the whole internet should have at least 50 promotion sites. But there's like 50 thousand promotion sites.... omg!

I think Promotion Sites are most likely going to die within the 1 month or so because who would want to promote a site where there's no one to on the promotion forum (new)

Promotion forums are a fad. Sometimes they are the 'in' thing.. Other times you cant find any but the big ones that arent going anywhere.

Most of them do not get active though as they are to many sites that are rely good like this one so people do not like to join new ones.

That is completely untrue, it does not matter whether you have a .com or a .net, or even a .co.cc . All that matters is the dedication you put into it, the unique services you offer. Also about all this 'get PR and SEO by advertising on forums', many people dont look at it this way, it is mainly looking for an audience to showcase their site to.

Pretty weird as you are supposedly review staff on YAP and you have ran many promotional forums, but yes. I do own and definitely dedicated to my promotional forum. We have been open for over a month and we are not gone down hill. We are still going strong.

I'm mostly promoting my forum at the big ones right now as well. The ones with the most members are the ones where you can usually get the most package requests, post exchanges and the works, basically.

I only now join adverting forum if:

• On advance hosting. Not useing free forum hosting.
• Have TLD.
• Have customize skin or skin that has been edit (At least more then 3 edits).
• Have active members.

Also I will join if a person pay me cash (FP or real).

Well, why do people always say they dont join unless they have a TLD, and are not hosted on free forum software. Back in the day, FP was running on freeforums, with a .co.nr domain. Does that mean you should all get up and leave? No, it gradually became successful.

Sorry, felt the need. Honestly there will probably be 2 new promotion sites to pop up in 2010 and take on FP, one of these will fall to a fatal hacking (not enough backups and lost everything). The other will replace FP once it goes down, and then it'll repeat 😛

Good one, I'm surprised no one made the Sparta reference before you did. But you're probably right about the percentage that will actually succeed, though we can't prove their sticky/prosperous ends.
