Doctor Who
New Arrival
Website Name: Storm
Website link: http://www.stormstorm.com
Description: An ongoing college project.
Storm is a project I am doing at college.
Am doing BTEC Computer Systems Level 3.
Today, the first day of the project, I made the logo, and constructed the basic HTML page.
I then researched how to apply background audio, which is actually 20 secs of a real storm.
The annoying thing is that mobile safari blocks autoplay of audio.
This means that iOS devices such as iPhone and iPad won't be able to hear the sound.
I am trying to find a way around this without displaying any visual controls on the homepage.
It is a project that I aim to be working on for quite a while to come.
There is so much I want to do, but so much I have yet to learn.
You can keep track of my progress at http://www.stormstorm.com if you like. 😎
By the way, if any of you know how to apply rain effects, then please contact me.
I'm currently researching how to make it rain (yes, actually rain) on the homepage.
Anyway, I'll keep you posted, and please feel free to post your ideas and comments. :great:
UPDATE: The audio clip is now 2 minutes long.
This is a project that I am finding rather interesting. 🙂
UPDATE (21/01/2012): This project is still ongoing,
but is not open to the public ATM as some personal/college files are involved. 😎
