In French, the er ending is pronounced ay, nor er - as would be in English. For instance, Voltaire is pronounced Voltiay. OK, what weird habits are in your language? Would you change them?

Also another weird thing about the Japanese language... they pronounce the "fu" much differently.

I think that one varies depending on the speaker, they have sort of regional accents, although there was someone around here who's an expert on this sort of stuff. Pinging random people is kinda rude though.

We are lucky that our language is one of the easiest to learn just like Nihonggo. Unlike Spanish which has a verb for the first person and a different verb for the second and another for a third not to mention the plural nouns that they also have their own verbs. You will get a headache just to think how to say "he eats bread" but it is different when you say "we eat bread" and "I eat bread" in Spanish. Anyway, the advantage of Filipino is the way you pronounce the words is the same as you read it.
