Guys , I am facing a strange problem with my forum . I just got a domain and paid hosting from Ideastack.com 2 weeks ago . Now , my ISP is simply blocking my forum ! I dont know why , even the hosts are clueless . I have to use my other ISP to access my forum . My friends cant access the forum since majority of them has the ISP blocking my forum . I dont understand what to do . Please help me out .

What is the link to the forum in question?

Have you tried speaking with your ISP? It might be that they block it for a reason such as it is a bad site, host or something like that.

The link to my forum is : www.gamersconnect.net .

My forum is not one that contains objectionable content that could be blocked by the ISP . I still haven't spoken with my ISP , still relying on the hosting guys to find some solution out . It was opening up fine some 7-8 days earlier , but they seem to have blocked it now .

Can this be a problem with my host , like faulty domain registration or something ?

What makes you think your ISP is blocking you from your site? It may well be your host. It could be that your hosts firewall has blocked you or even blocked your ISP from accessing their server.

The only country where the ISP would block content would be China, so I am with Fowler it most certainly isn't your host.

So , you think its my host ? Ya , I also feel so . Never expected Ideastack to provide such crappy service !
I am seriously disapointed with the service . I would never recommend Ideastack to anyone else .

Just one thing , can you guys access the forum ?

I guess its my host's problem then , since Kirisute cant access it .

It could be the ISP as well, though I don't know why it would block both of us. Do you have RoadRunner? If you do, can you tell me the first 2 parts of your IP address?
The server could have blocked an IP range.

I didn't think Roadrunner had a presence in India.

It could be your ISP if you can connect to it through a proxy.

I have aRoadRunner too. xD My first two are 65.189, and i'm getting the same as you Kirisute.

I think it's a domain registrar error or something. :S
That awkward that it's only blocking certain people.

My entire on is 65.189.237.7
I shouldn't know that by heart. xD

Nope , it just mentioned my ISP name . Mine's a dynamic IP provider one . Now my IP starts with 117.36.x.x . Later it might change .

Okay , here's a setting in my Cpanel that I found :

Is this thing causing problem ?
