Strange problem on firefox

A couple of days ago I changed my password on my forum (Headbangers Haven) because it needed to be more secure.

After I changed it, my forum logged me out, So I went to log back in again, Only to find that I couldn't. I also couldnt get my password reset because the email wouldnt come through.

I waited till the next day when my co-admin came online to change my password manually through the admin panel.

Now here is the annoying bit. I can't log on anymore via Firefox. Internet Explorer works fine (But I don't like IE)
I have just updated firefox hoping that it would solve the problem - it didnt. I have deleted my cookies - still not working.

Anyone know why this could be happening?

Could be a problem with the cookies. On FireFox go to Tools > Clear Recent History > Then clear your Cache and Cookies for the last week or so.

Restard Firefox and see if that helps.

This may sound dumb but are sure you've checked the "remember me" box?

I have a drop down on my forum, I always choose 'forever'

And check the box "remember me".

Tool ==> Options ==> Privacy

Make sure that you have check "Accept cookie from sites" and Accept third-party cookies". Also, click "Exceptions" to see if you site listed, if it is remove it from the list.

I changed the setting to accept cookie from sites and accept third party.

Just keeps coming up with Password Incorrect.

I can't see where 'exceptions' is :/

Yea it works on Internet explorer.

Not tried any other browsers.

Try another browser other than Internet Explorer. 🙂 Sometimes issues like this occur when using IE.

Hes using firefox, I would say use Google Chrome if you cant get this solved.

Try Opera.

I now remember that a coup[le of months ago i had some problems with my phpbb forum where even after i log in firefox showed me as guest and it showed me that i have logged in only after i left the index page.

Was a weird problem as all the other browsers in my PC were working fine.

I didn't gave much thought to ti then as forums switched to mybb and FF was working fine for it.
