Do you strategically plan for your forum, blog or website? This meaning, do you plan for future events now so that you know what to do when they happen? Do you have a 5 year plan for your site and do you have realistic goals that you work to make successful?
In general, do you feel that strategic planning is an important tool or tactic for a webmaster?
Planning for events 5 year from now? That's too far, haha~ None of my site even lasted that long. I didn't really plan anything specific for my forums if I did have one. I suppose I go along the way after looking at the community of my forums, adding what suits them and makes them happy.
I think planning is important, but I never really have trouble not having long-time planning for my forums, lol. It may be different for others, though.
I have plans but it's 2-3 months plan, not 5 years 🙂
It is always good to have a plan so you don't just make/edit things on your website without any clue why you are doing that.
