Stray Dog

Found a little stray dog wandering around my street. He walked out in the road and almost got hit so I picked him up, gave him something to eat and some water. Next thing I know he dug his way out of my backyard and was gone. I tried to rescue him. Oh well, I hope he found his way back home without getting hit (my street is kind of busy).

Aww, and here I thought you could start an animal shelter soon 😛.

To be serious though you did the right thing, hope he got back too. How's the turtle doing?

Good. Finally finished his outdoor kingdom. Its huge.

Although he likes to poke his head out of the chicken wire. Im afraid he is going to get cut. When I get paid I might go get some bricks and line the inside of the fence with them.

That's good to hear, has been a while since the other thread was updated 😛. Turtles are seriously awesome though so it's great he's off well.

^^ what hat tipper said 😀, a stray dog will always try to get away instinctively if it feels it is "captive".

Awesome to see another caring animal lover having the back of those poor strays. My family rescued a stray pittbull,we found, who almost got hot on the highway.

Now, he is a full fledged member of the family 🙂

Keep on helping those poor strays--never know when one will wander into your heart and family!

Awww you sound just like me, I take everything in I find, cats, dogs, birds.....

I usually take them to keep them safe until the rescue centres come to save them....I only every phone the good places where I know they will be kept safe, it makes it easier for owners to find them again. All my animals came from rescue apart from one cat, his mother just walked in pregnant one day and decided to stay.

You did your best for him 😉

Awesome Miss-Take--I want a cat so bad. I want a Russian Blue and later on a Maincoon Cat. (I intend to adopt any pets I ever own from animal shelters--I want to save an animals life 😀
