An old/new board. I had SC for over a year before "drama" caused me to change the board. I've only now reestablished Structured Chaos, minus the bad apples. We currently have only about 5-6 "active" users, and compared to what it use to be (over 30 active members and 96 members as a whole) that's not much. We're looking for cool, open minded men and women (though it's pretty girly) at the moment. On this board, pretty much anything goes and I'm always looking for inspiration and new challenges. AND, a good group of kick butt people. Hope to see you around!

I don't really like the shoutbox at the top of the forum... It would look better at the bottom in my opinion.

from the first page which loads, it looks like a nice tidy forum. I'd also delete the shoutbox.

At this early stage, i would disable the feature which requires guests to log-in before being able to view the forums -- people wont register to a forum if they dont know what's going to be "on the other side".

It's a good start, and a good foundation to build upon. Keep it up, and good luck

Thanks for the comments! Unfortunately I can't make it a public forum just yet, as I have some "stalker" type people who like to stir up trouble.. But I totally agree that it would be easier to get people in and out if I could disable that feature. We'll see what happens in the near future.

The simple solution to that is to track down and ban their IP addresses. That way, their only method of accessing the forums would be to use a proxy-server, which often take time to bypass forum blocking software.

Alternatively, make sure you've good a good moderation team who will quickly track down likely spammers and stop them in their tracks.
