This will be a free html template offered on design247.net, the templates currently up on their are extremely basic and im still learning but please can i have some suggestions or tips on this style?

Try replacing that black area with a dark grey -> black gradient.

Thanks, ive already had opinions like that from another forum, Once i get a main one done i might do slight colour variations of it..
