What is the style of furniture that is in your home? Mine is a more traditional look. The couch is very 90s though and we bought a gray couch cover to make it more modern. It was part of a set that rarely got sat on because it was in the formal living room at our previous house...and now it's the one in the family room where everyone sits on it. It's lasting a long time though.
I'd describe our furniture as modern but minimalist. We bought most of our furniture forty years ago and recently replaced pretty much everything when we moved house.
I don't think we really have much of a style at all. It's mostly just been whatever we've liked. Downstairs is more purples and oranges and greens, so like outdoorsy sunset colors, I guess. My room has more blues, but I don't really know what kind of a feel I'm going for (beachy, I guess? but also not beachy because I feel like it's too "cliche" lol). My study is more rustic, I guess, and has more purples and some blues? I like using more of the darker wood stains for my furniture too, honestly, because I just think it looks nicer. (Though I will not deny I have seen some nice lighter wood stains for furniture.)
