Would you use a forum daily that is on a subdomain like ETT.Byethost.net <<< Would you use it?

Depends. DigitalPoint is on its own subdomain (forums.digitalpoint.com).

But, I know you probably mean free subdomain, so no.

They can be long, hard to remember and doesn't show professionalism and/or that you can't afford a $9 domain.

You might be using free hosting as they provide free subdomains so those hosts are generally slow (but a few are fast) and it just isn't a good feeling for members.

But that's in theory, so I can't make a judgment on something which is most likely not going to happen in this day and age.
