It's just spamdexing to a certain extent. You can choose to submit or not. Either way, you won't see any major benefit from them. Even if you do get a link, will Google index that page? Chances are they won't, so you won't get anything out of it.

It won't hurt you to do this but it won't really help you either. The links it creates are low quality so it won't really have an effect on your site.

Since I've just got a newly created blog (and it's still experimental and could go either way and could use even limited traffic), I'm going to give this a go and see what happens.

ETA: half way though I get an alert in my browser about malware so I didn't finish it.

Theres many many ways of not having to use black hat i think, im new to SEO 🙂
