When you watch foreign films, do you watch in the native language & use subtitles or dub in your language?
I prefer subtitles. But I also have to say I like watching a foreign film in subtitles while it's dubbed in the English language. Provided they have the two fit. The mouth movement doesn't get me as much as if they say something in English but the subtitles say something else.

Not into reading - hard to read and watch the film people

With Japanese films that aren't English dubbed, I like English sub. I'm a little hard of hearing. I prefer to have English sub with everything. It helps me understand it more.

Subtitles all the time in almost all instances. Dragon Ball and Digimon are really the only two that I always watch dubs of because I grew up on the dubs, and just find it weird watching them with Japanese VA's.

I prefer dubs because I don't like reading on-screen and I generally can't keep up with subtitles.

I much prefer to watch it with subtitles and have it in their native language. My reason for this is that I find that watching it with the talking dubbed never looks right and I am often put off by how it looks and I lose interest way too easily. Having the subtitles available and hearing it in their language is a better experience I feel.

I don't know, the only dubbed movie I watched was Timecrimes and actually it didn't bother me one bit. It took a couple minutes of getting used to, but after that I didn't even realize it was dubbed the whole rest of the movie!

So if it's like anime I would prefer dubbed but I don't really like watching movies dubbed especially when I'm able to see the person's mouth not matching with the audio

For Anime I prefer Good English Dub but English Subtitles are also fine.

I watch everything with subtitles or CC. Especially when it's in English, my most dominate language, and the characters have thick accents.

I tend to just go with whatever it defaults to. In most situations I am not too fussed about one or the other. I am also too lazy to go out of my way to change settings prior to watching something. Although this means that with some anime that are ongoing I might start in dub and switch over to sub when I catch up and don't want to wait when there are subbed episodes available.
