I like action, adventure, magic, martial arts and supernatural types shows. I have seen Heroes, Smallville, Buffy, Grimm, TeenWolf, The Cape, Charmed, Supernatural, Vampire Diaries, Being Human, Terra Nova, Primeval, Doctor Who
And in Anime I've seen DBZ, Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, Digimon, Pokemon, Inuyasha, Yu Yu Hakusho, A Certain Magical Index, Kiba, Tsubasa, Hero Tales, Rave Master,Baki the Grappler, Buso Renkin, Kekkaishi, KuroKami, Tenjho Tenge, Samurai CHamploo, Sekerei, Shakugan No Shana, and Avatar, Yu Gi Oh, FMA

Have you seen Prison Break? It's a good show. Also if you like doctor who you could try Torchwood.

I would recommend Under the Dome which is a new series based on a group of people getting stuck underneath a dome and they need to work together to survive. Prison Break is definitely a good show, but it ended a long time ago. Perception would be a great show to watch too.

I'm going to second Continuum, it's a really great show. (Science fiction series based around the idea of time travel.)

Dexter is pretty good also, but season 6 goes kinda off the rails. (Almost better to skip it and jump right to season 7.) Be warned though, Dexter is full of adult content. So if you're not comfortable with blood, fairly graphic sex and violence then you might want to give this a pass.

I'm also going to put forward:
- The Walking Dead.
If you like Zombies... you'll love this. Even if you hate Zombies with a passion, still give this a shot because this show is just THAT good. Also, this show can be heavy on the gore so if you're not comfortable with that... might want to pass.

- Falling Skies.
Kind of like The Walking Dead, at least as far as I've seen in Season 2, except not quite as good and has aliens instead of zombies. Still a worthy watch though. Also it has less gore.

- Burn Notice.
A show all about what happens when a spy gets fired. Definitely worth watching.

- Arrow.
If you like Smallville, you might like Arrow since it's set in the DC universe also. Slightly different DC universe... but still. Follows Green Arrow and season 2 is set to bring in the Flash. Has a fair bit of martial arts action too.


For anime, if you watch Fate/Stay Night... be prepared to sit down for 3-4 episodes at a shot and not just one. (I know that's how I ended up watching that anime... It has this pretty addictive quality about it that leads you to want to watch just one more episode.)

Code Geass is also definitely worth watching.

You might also enjoy Deathnote (it's a supernatural mystery sort of anime).

Trigun might be worth looking into too.

And of course if you like Supernatural the TV show, give Supernatural the Anime a shot too. (It's a somewhat modified retelling of the first two seasons of the TV show.)

The show "Fringe" is about fringe science. Basically it's supernatural events occurring on Earth with a team trying to figure it al out. It's not like CSI or anything so you'll need to watch it from the start.

Game of Thrones is an epic show based on an epic book series. You can expect wars, politics, adventure, sex (NSFW/nudity), and a very intriguing storyline. There's a lot of twists. It's based in medieval times with some magic, but the magic is not as important as perhaps Harry Potter. Very good series.

Breaking bad and prison break are my two favorite shows although Low winter sun a new show is very good.

Have you seen Farscape? It's more sci-fi futuristic than most of the shows you mentioned. Action packed, so you might like it.

I watched the first season of The Walking Dead on Netflix and then when they ran out of episodes just got out of the show. Then this past year, I started watching the latest season on Cable. The show (cast) has changed so much, I barely recognized the series.
